In this 9 minute clip, the author and photographer Edwin Koo takes you on a short tour through his first photo book “Paradise”, based on recent events in Pakistan’s Swat Valley.
The book was made possible by the ICON de Martell Cordon Bleu award.
This is a video presentation that was created from the author’s three bodies of documentary work – about Tibetan exiles, Maoist fighters, and Swat valley crisis. It was the winning work in ICON de Martell Cordon Bleu 2012 award. Put together with the help of Bertrand Amiot, Raphael Millet and Shirlene Noordin, this video presents to the viewer the author’s take on the notion of “home”, through the perspectives of various protagonists in his stories that cut across peoples and geography.
